The problem is that these things are supported by liberals. 53 percent of liberal democrats support drone strikes. Wider margins for moderate and conservative democrats. Much wider for republicans. For any politician elected in a democracy, if a majority supports something, they will too. If you want to change the politician, change the people. Change the liberals and the democrats who support drone strikes. Otherwise they’ll continue.
Thomas Roll is convinced he is the sole arbiter of what constitutes sane and enlightened fiscal policy. Anybody who disagrees does so because they “understand nothing” and simply need a sufficient level of education. Since every single candidate Thomas has considered has this same flaw, perhaps Thomas should run for president. Elections are a choice for the people of which candidate best matches their own views and who would best represent them as a President. If nobody else has the understanding of finance which Thomas Roll has, then he would be his own ideal candidate and electorate.
I had high hopes for President Obama, expecting (perhaps foolishly) that a Constitutional lawyer and professor would have a higher regard for the Constitution. Those hopes have since been quite thoroughly dashed.
Republicans take campaign money shamelessly and corruptly. Democrats also take campaign money corruptly, but they pretend to feel bad about it. Well, they feel bad that Republicans are doing it, anyway. It’s not that smart of a long term plan on the part of the Democrats, because a major part of their political platform is trying to appeal to the working class.
You get situations like the President attacking Wall Street in a speech, saying “Too often, we’ve seen Wall Street firms violating major anti-fraud laws because the penalties are too weak and there’s no price for being a repeat offender.” (http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2011/12/06/remarks-president-economy-osawatomie-kansas)
And then just two months later, one of his fundraisers holds an exclusive donor meeting, where he “assured a group of Democratic donors from the financial services industry that Obama wonât demonize Wall Street as he stresses populist appeals in his re-election campaign” (http://www.businessweek.com/news/2012-02-10/obama-campaign-chief-messina-seeks-to-assure-wall-street-donors.html)
Who is being fooled here?

I created the Ohio For Rocky Anderson facebook page today as a way to facilitate communication and volunteer operations for campaign volunteers in Ohio. Posting the link here for campaign clearance like Devan asked.
Could I have somebody officially in the campaign take a quick look at our Ohio For Rocky facebook page for campaign clearance purposes?
