Sign Presidential Candidate Rocky Anderson's Petition: NO WAR ON IRAN

Please sign this petition, or text "NOWAR" to 1-801-436-5858, demanding a de-escalation of nuclear proliferation, a cessation of UN sanctions against Iran, and a return to diplomacy as the primary means of discourse with Iran.

The IAEA has been allowed access to a number of nuclear facilities in Iran in order to survey its nuclear technology. The IAEA Director General has declared that a number of nuclear facilities, which the IAEA now has under observation, are enriching uranium for peaceful purposes. The Director General is still requesting access to all of Iran's sites that are conducting nuclear research for full validation of Iran's nuclear program.

The constant belligerent rhetoric of the Democrats and Republicans, coupled with Israeli covert operations, has only increased Iran’s antagonistic attitude towards the West. America should not be threatening or condoning overt or covert military actions. We must pursue policies that de-escalate tensions between Iran and The West.

The same imment threat ‘reasoning’ that excused and precipitated the invasion of Iraq by the USA can be used by Iran to ‘preventively/pre-emptively’ attack Israel. Israel continually threatens Iran’s legal energy development conduct. More so than Iraq ever threatened the USA !

Or should Iran wait for a smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud over Tehran?
