Sign Presidential Candidate Rocky Anderson's Petition: NO WAR ON IRAN

Please sign this petition, or text "NOWAR" to 1-801-436-5858, demanding a de-escalation of nuclear proliferation, a cessation of UN sanctions against Iran, and a return to diplomacy as the primary means of discourse with Iran.

The IAEA has been allowed access to a number of nuclear facilities in Iran in order to survey its nuclear technology. The IAEA Director General has declared that a number of nuclear facilities, which the IAEA now has under observation, are enriching uranium for peaceful purposes. The Director General is still requesting access to all of Iran's sites that are conducting nuclear research for full validation of Iran's nuclear program.

The constant belligerent rhetoric of the Democrats and Republicans, coupled with Israeli covert operations, has only increased Iran’s antagonistic attitude towards the West. America should not be threatening or condoning overt or covert military actions. We must pursue policies that de-escalate tensions between Iran and The West.

I agree entirely that the current irresponsible foreign relations model (and the war-making and perpetuating status quo that extends, in contemporary times, at least to the 1981-89 Reagan era) is lawless and immoral (as are the recklessly stupid comments being made by the current mass media promoted pool of candidates). We are long overdue for thoughtful, humane, rule-of-law, âunbossed and unboughtâ leadership in U.S. foreign policy and practice. I like Rocky Anderson’s positions on foreign relations and other matters, domestic and international; and I hope he will stay the course.

No war against Iran. No war against any other nation. Stop acting like the bully on the block. The American people do not support war.

I plan to vote for Rocky, as will others in my family. Past behavior predicts future behavior and Rocky has consistently proven himself to be an ardent voice for the people. One who gets things done, even in the face of opposition.
