If I were working on the Rocky campaign I would produce a succint bullet list of executive orders, policies and positions that Obama has taken that are decidedly not progressive. Then I would get this list to everybody in alternative media: print, web, progressive radio and TV talk show hosts and challenge them to call themselves progressive supporters while supporting the democratic corporate front man issuing and enforcing these abominable extreme right-wing policies.

Rocky is making the point that democrats are not necessarily progressives and now progressives in the media need to face up to the fact they are supporting a corporate sponsored candidate in Obama just as certain as if they voted for the Rove and Koch bros. front man Mint Rawmoney.

Obama and Romney can’t begin to match Anderson’s remarkable command of the facts, and his understanding of the real meaning of the facts. Nor can they begin to compare with Anderson in terms of genuine belief in traditional American values and personal integrity. As Anderson says, we have the tools — the “social media” — to effectively fight the smothering financial onslaught of the major parties. Let’s do it!
